I had metro St. Racing for Dreamcast. And though is was beautiful, I became bored with it fast. I never was able to unlock the cool cars because of that stupid Kudos system. Gotham is out.
About HALO, Your suggestion is good except for one thing, I'm a Lefty
I did switch the controls around last night and found a better set up. Still not as good as K/M, but I'll get use to it

One game that I strongly suggest you getting, that your 3 yr. old can enjoy is Arctic Thunder. This is a simple racing game that will hone his gaming and coordination skills. Also my daughter likes the smaller MadCats rubber grip controller better than the original Xbox controller.
Mario Kart64 was what I started my daughter on when she was 2 and she (now 5) can kick my 15yr old sons butt in just about every game, especially DOA3 and Artic Thunder.
Funny thing was a couple of weeks ago, I brought my Xbox to a family get-together at my parents house and let all my brothers, cousins and uncles have at it with DOA3 for a couple of hours. Then I brought my 5yr old daughter in and challenged them to play against her. They chuckled and after it was all said and done she had whooped all of them time after time until one of my brothers said, "Let's play another game without her".
I wish that I was a betting man cause I'd have emptied their wallets that night.
Get him started early and again he'll really enjoy "Arctic Thunder".

I am glad we convinced you to pick up the system, even though I suggested to wait.
If you enjoy racing, I can stress RalliSport Challenge more. I simply love it.
Also, since you enjoy RPGs, Morrowind should hit next month, but... it is also coming for PC, so that's a toss up.

Thanks WOWZY,
Good idea. Right now he only wants CARS !!!!!!!!
I rented StarWars Starfighter last night and I thought he would love it, but he was pissed. He wanted CARS !!! So I but in Wreckless and he was happy as a bug. He does not play yet, he sits there with his controller that is unplugged and watches. Soon we will try getting him involved in game play

You should make your purchase on the games that you want to play. Look at the Xbox titles @ $50+ a pop, console $300, and controllers for $40 a pop. then make your choice... If it takes you longer than 30 secs. hold off the purchase for another month, then do it again.
