This is the best deal I've seen! I bought mine two months ago for $299. Btw, you must also buy GTA3. It isn't the merchants' requirement, it is for the good of the nation!
(Edit) Looks like the PS2 unit is out of stock, as well as the GT3 bundle (different game). Sign up for the reminder, and maybe you'll get lucky if they come back in stock.

Thanks at least it is a start!!! I will still keep looking meanwhile as I need it sort of yesturday, if you know what I mean. If anyone else has any ideas or can point me in a direction I would appreciate it.

I got one off ebay from an auction with a "buy it now" feature. it came with the ps2, a memory card, controller, gta3, gt3, mgs2, klonoa 2, and batman vengeance. all of that for $400 shipped. It works great, and I sold the latter two games to get a nice $50 back.
The only method I've found for getting a deal on ebay is if you find a good buy it now auction - or the morons out there will overbid too much. Good luck.

Most Sony products have price locks so that merchants can't control the prices. I have rarely seen a PS2 at such a great discount where I would have to pick up another just because it is such a great price (and I could make a profit). I suggest finding a retailer which has a coupon or free shipping and purchase from them.
