Oh god run for your life the horror!! Is this for real ? I remember reading about it but didn't think they'd actually do it. I'm really looking forward to Xenosaga and Kingdom Hearts! Must have those!!

Back on topic, this time I think they might actually do it, after weekly posts of "it'll drop next month" lol!

They dropped the price of the PSX at e3 too I think. They also started their Greatest Hits value series this month. I really like thegia too, its a cool rpg/import/niche gaming site and pretty accurate.

Still...even they didn't drop it at e3 i wouldn't be too disappointed (already have a PS2 ). If don't drop the system price, I hope the price drop will be that of all their games (new ones too) to something like $40, that'd be nice!

We know what Nintendo has instore, and Xbox has some cool looking stuff coming too, but what about PS2? GTA3.1/4(the miami thing) still seems like a rumor.

Can anyone help me?
To be really honest with you I think we have to wait until E3 or just before to know all Sony and the 3rd parties have planned for XMas. I think both Sony and Microsoft have been really silent about what is coming to their systems in Q4 of this year while Nintendo has laid its highest cards out on the table (Metroid, Mario, Zelda, StarFox Adventures, ED, etc.) for the second half of this year already. They are the only company that has truly given us a glimpse at what is to come.

And yes Microsoft has shown such things as Project Ego, but who's to say that will be out this year? E3 is very big this year to see who truly comes out of it looking like gold and who comes out (possibly) looking like coal.
