Odd Controller problem(Xbox)

I'm having an odd problem with my "Trick" controller. The right analog stick seems to ecperience "slowdown" in Halo.

After playing deathmatch for a short time(the only time this controler gets used) it seems to slow down when pushe dto the right. Push left and you will spin a fast as allowed, push right and it is about half as fast.

But if I shut down and restart my Xbox it works fine, this happens regardless of which port it's using.

The Trick controller has to be calibrated when the X-box is turned on. Just rotate the two analog sticks in a circular motion when you power up the X-box. I had the same problem and then I looked at the instructions for the controller and this fixed it.

BTW, other than this little annoyance, the Trick controller is a very good 3rd party X-box controller.

That figures, I thought it was strange that if I reset it it worked great. I never thought about reading the instructions for it since it was just a controler and I had no intention of using the programmable function.

I agree though, it's a nice little controller. It's the one I use when playing deathmatch.

You don't happen to have a scanner to scan that page of the manual? I have no clue if I still have my instruction booklet.

Make sure that you are not pushing down on the right stick!!!! When you do this HALO come to his knees which might move slow since he is not walking.

If I can find where I put my manual, I'll make a scan for you.
