Is Advance War (GBA) really GOOD?

I read the review that it is one of the Top 10 GBA games. Then I saw Advance War was on sales for $19.99 at Best Buy. But I am not sure if it is a game for me.

I have never had a strategy game before, and I am not sure if I will like it. I seem to enjoy playing puzzle, racing, and action adventure type of games.

The question is, do you think Advance War is so good that pepole like me who has never played strategy game will like it? Or it is very good ONLY if you enjoy strategy game? It seems to me that this game can be very boring because there is not much action going on.

Please let me know what you like about this game. And let me know if you think I will like it as I am not very into strategy games.

Thank you in advance.

It's worth the purchase because the game lasts forever. There is so much to unlock. It's really a classic game.

I don't know if you'd like it not liking strategy games. Perhaps. There are a lot of boring moments, but it's a great time killer. And if you are interested in starting to play stategy games it'll be a good start.

This is one of the best games I've ever played. It is so good. Very in-depth, and the training is very lengthy so you get a lot of play out of it! Buy it you won't regret it.

I second everyone's opinions. Also, if you've never had a strategy game before, this a good place to start.

No problem! Also I think you should check out Best Buy, I think thier still holding that $5 off one game, and $15 off two, deal. I checked Best Buy on-line, and you can get it for 24.99, which is not a bad price at all .

A quick update!!

I went to the Best Buy in Secaucus, NJ

The have Advance War listed for $24.99
Then $5 off all GBA games
and with my $5 coupon from EGM

Total: $14.99 + Tax

It is a really good deal.

Now, I just need to find the time to try it!!!

I have also bought Castlevania & Super Dodge Ball from KBToys (B&M) for $19.99. hey have about 10 - 15 GBA games for $19.99.

Anyway, thanks again! I will keep you guys updated about how I like Advance War!

Yes, it is. However, you should check out KBToys Store / KBTOYS.com

They have many GBA games for sales.
