How about UUDDLRLRBA "SELECT" START

Wasn't that the code for Super Contra or Contra II?

Wasn't the select, start only for starting two player game in Contra? That code worked on so many Konami games back in the day.

yup

code worked for contra but the select start was to get 2 in on the 30 lives

Those were the days!

It was always a blast with 2-player and using that code. You could go crazy and not care about dying.

How about a,b,a,c,a,b,b? Probably pretty easy for most.

That code worked for hte same ones as the code in the topic. Adding 'select' just starts the game with two players instead of one.

if you're talking about the code for Ikari Warriors on the NES, the code is AABBA.

The konami code works for other games too, anyone remember which ones my memory is failing me.

It has such a wonderful rhyme and is easy to remember, no wonder its such a cool code .

Wish they used it in new games so I can U,U,D,D,L,R,L,R,B,A, START!!

Unfortunately, PS controllers just don't permit this most classic of all cheat codes. x, circle or square, triangle ruin the rhythm.

It also worked for Life Force... i remember trying it for every Konami NES game back in the day

The only code that I swear I will never forget because I swear to God I was the first one to have it ever but I was too stupid to submit it to a magazine first was the Mike Tyson's Punch Out Code:

007-373-5963!

I figured out the code when some friends of mine were just messing around with the numbers. 007 for James Bond, and 373-5963 for one of their phone numbers. Voila! We were like WTF!?? But none of us thought of ever submitting it to a mag. We found it about a 3 weeks after the game came out. The following year I read in a gaming magazing how some kid had gotten credit for discovering the code to fight the champ, Mike Tyson himself. I was mad.

Don't believe me?? Fine! You dress like Soda Popinski!!
