I DONT KNOW THE INSIDES OF MY PS2 BUT I RENTED MAXIMO FROM BLOCKBUSTER AND THE SCREEN WAS JUMPING, AND THE VOICES WOULD CUT IN AND OUT SOME TIMES THE SCREEN WOULD FREEZE FOR A FEW SECONDS, I TOOK THAT GAME OUT AND PUT IN NCAA2002 AND HAD NO PROBLEMS SO TO GET TO THE POINT WOULD I HAVE ANY LONG TERM OR SHORT TERM PROBLEMS WITH MY PS2.

First off, please stop typing in all caps... it's really hard to read, and writing in caps is typically the way people convey shouting. Thank you. 
It sounds like you got a bum copy of Maximo from Blockbuster. It's a good sign that NCAA 2002 works just fine. I can't think of any reason that bad copies of games should affect your PS2 hardware. It's like DVDs... if you throw a scratched DVD into your player, it'll play funny, but it won't hurt your player (AFAIK). I'd go back to Blockbuster, tell them that it was a bad copy of the game, and either get your money back, or ask them for another copy.
