Did anyone actually one this sucker? I remember they featured it in that Nintendo movie, which was basically a gigantic 90 minute Nintendo commercial (right down to the unveiling of the mystery game at the end aka

THE WIZARD! I went out and saw that movie!

Damn that glove was a stupid idea. I remember walking out of the movie thinking about how much I didn't want that thing.

That movie rocked, don't crack on the Wizard. And don't even think about reckoning with an object so fantastic in it's power it is given the name "Power Glove." Mere mortals cannot comprehend the powerful force behind this glove.

My cousin got one of them. That uber-l33t video game player who mortals fear to challenge in the movie, Lucas, was right when he said, "It's so bad." It was really bad. Meaning that it didn't work at all.

whoa, when I was really little I remember renting the Power Glove from the local video rental store and trying it on Punchout. It worked sorta, but not that well...I can barely remember it though. We also tried it on Rad Racer but it didn't work too well. Its good didn't do too well so we don't get peripherals like this today that are too gimicky.......

..but I suppose its debatable that in some cases we still do Stuff like the Maraccas and Dance mats are perfect examples of good peripherals.....someday I'd like to try out the DJ scratch controller for Beatmania....always wanted to try my hand a being a DJ. Guitar Freaks is another game that looks cool, too bad my arcades suck and never have any cool games.

And The Wizard was cool, I remember being really excited about Super Mario 3, great game too. That one kid from the Wonder Years was in it....um....Fred Savage. It would probably be a really funny movie if I watched it today though

The Wizard was awesome i remember going and seeing
it the first day it was out in theaters and everyone
going eww ahh OMG when they showed Mario 3.
They need to release Thw Wizard on DVD along
with Super Mario Brothers The Movie.
Also they need to make the sequal to SMB because
the ending was so obvious they wanted a sequal.

I have a powerglove. Used it the other day. It's a little small on me now, but I used to use it all the time when I was little. Not because it worked, but because it looked so cool and all my friends were jealous.
