It's all about REZ!
Wow, I'm amazed this game isn't getting more attention and people talking about it! Has anyone else picked up REZ for PS2 yet? Sega is at it again, at this rate they will be the #1 software publisher before long.
REZ is 100% unique and unlike anything I have played before. It's like a rail shooter with trippy graphics and a bit of Panzeer Dragoon thrown in. But the key is, everything is based on music and music plays a vital part in the game.. There is also tons of stuff to unlock.
If you have any interest in a music based shooter or just something totally unique, I highly recommend REZ. I put this on at the office this week and before long there was quite a crowd. At least 2 people went out and bought the game after seeing it.
(that's no small task with a group of jaded developers).
Anyway, hopefully REZ will get the attention a game this original, fun and just damn cool deserves!

I love it. However, it's short. Since it took them three years to complete I'm afraid there might be no sequel. If you like this you might try to find N20/Nitrous Oxide for PSX. It's an on rails shooter but plays more like Tempest and Tempest 2000 and has a cool tencho soundtrack.

You mean PS2! It isn't out for Dreamcast. (Unless it was made for the japanese DC, which would surprise me).

That's wild, I had no idea it was made for Dreamcast.. But looking at an import store online they had it listed. Any idea how it compares on the Dreamcast to the PS2 version?

I finally got this game (the DC import) and I'm speechless!!! It rocks!!
I didn't really know what to do at first but you learn pretty quick. The graphics are really crazy and the music is awesome!
This game definitely wins for innovation, its the most original game I've played in a long time. Sega has done it once again!
