Halo Easter Eggs?
Has anyone found any cool hidden stuff in HALO? I've heard that you can get on top of the Pelican, and go for a little ride, after it drops you off in the Silent Cartographer board.
I also heard about a deserter Marine somewhere and a Grunt that talks about the Mothership's nipple? I don't know where these things show up but it's great to see these little added bonuses in an already awesome game.

the talking Grunt is in the maw, right near the end. there were some teamxbox.com forum posts about halo eggs that explained a lot more.

As mentioned above, the funny Covenant Grunt is in the last level.
After Echo-419 crashes, you'll have to travel down the main hallway then look for a doorway on your right hand side. He will be in one of those.
The deserted Marine is in the upper part of the mountain in the Jungle stage; the one that's dark and raining (sorry, I forgot what it's called).
As soon as you get dropped off by the Pelican, quickly make your way to the front of the ship and hop on. Then, run to the back of the ship. As it begins its takeoff, it slowly turns clockwise. Look for a ledge on your right (if you're facing the back of the Pelican). Then, as the Pelican gets close to it, jump off.
This will take some practicing if you don't get it at first.
Once you're on top of the mountain, head towards your left.
