I just got Sunday's ad inset for Target. While most of it is very lame, they have one good deal. You can pick up the Mad Catz controller for PS2, Gamecube or Xbox for $15. Now I can't vouch for the GC or Xbox ones (they look pretty good and the Xbox looks easier on smaller hands than the original); but I picked up a PS2 one about a month ago ($20 at Wal Mart) and I really like it. It's a little bigger and has rubber gribs, which is nice. If your interested, the sale runs next week.

I wish there was a sale on sony brand controllers. I don't buy third party controllers or any thrid party items. Had problems with them myself and have also read many many stories about them.

But thinks for the info, I am sure there are those that think different from me.

My friend got an XBOX version and he played it with Amped, and he actually liked it better than the offical MS version. I would at the very least recommend getting one or two for those sometimes rare 4 player games.
