I was thinking of getting the 256MB version, but can you hold more than one ROM in there at the same time? I'm trying to consolidate space in my case, and that would help a LOT. Thanks.

I haven't used it, but was considering buying one. No, one game per rom. You have to connect it to your PC ro upload another game. So its not really worth it if you travel and want to bring many games with you, because you are limited to one.

more than one rom
Of course you can put more than one ROM on the Flash Advance. Even the initial batch of 64MB Flash Advance allowed for 2 different 32MB ROMs. The 256MB one allows for 8 32MB ROMS or 4 64MB ROMS or any combination in between.

exactly. what would be the point in coming out with bigger ones if you could still only hold one rom?
so, is $199 the going price for the 256mb version? that's what lik-sang has it for. i've been thinking about it for some time now too...

Doesn't this device let you illegally download roms off the internet and play them on your gameboy? If so, isn't this the sort of thread that a moderator would delete?

I've heard people use the line that ROMS are used to keep rare and outdated titles around so they aren't lost/forgotten. Yeah....and that is the reason I have movies and MP3s on my PC.

Sounds like a cool add on for the GBA. Is it really that expensive?
Cause that seems like a ton of cash to me...and I love video games.

as well
