This has probably been brought up before, but I couldn't put together the rights terms in the search.

Anyway, what do the different color blocks stand for on the start up screen. I'm guessing one is added everytime a disc is put in the drive. Is there a limit to how many blocks? Anyone know all the details about this strange startup screen?

I wish I knew the details of it, but I have a ton of blocks on my screen, having loaded abot 15 PS2 and 4 PS1 games.

I've heard rumors that one color is ps1 games, another color is ps2 games, another color is dvds, and yet another color is cds. I dunno though.
