Saw A Gamecube commerical during the movies....

While at the theatre I saw a coimmercial for the cube.

They showed footage of:

Mario Sunshine
Pikmin
Starfox
a static banner for Zelda - they must want to keep the lid on this thing still...

that's all I can remember though...damn. IT was a decent commercial...lots of games shown.

I was a great commercial. I don't think they should be showing game footage on the big screen though- it blows it up too much and the graphics look terrible. Also I don't get why they never show Star wars in the commercials. The visuals in that game will get people excited. I guess Lucas told them they couldn't.

I agree... and it was a little out of focus too... and the motion of the cube rotating to show the different games made my wife sick... but I was in awe....

Not showing Zelda really peeked my interest...I can't wait for this game.

I saw the commercial before Lord of the Rings last Thursday.

As for why they don't show Star Wars, it is a Nintendo commercial, notice that all the games they showed were either first party Nintendo games or second party Rare games (Star Fox, which features Nintendo characters). BTW I did see a Rogue Leader commercial on TV around launch.
