Forgive Me Father, For I Have Sinned...

I cracked....I went out and bought a gamecube.

The temptation to play Super Smash Brothers was too much, and I gave in.

I must say though, I am very impressed

I must confess...I cracked too and bought a gamecube, but that was after I bought a PS2, then followed by an XBOX. I'm doomed to an eternity of hell in front of the television.

Hmmm...can I say "Hell" in the forums???

Hell ya!

I want all three at some point too, but it may require a messy divorce to pull off.

Sounds like a win-win situation to me!

My wife nearly slashed my neck for buying a gamecube (we are poor graduate students). I rented Super Monkey Ball one day--for five days I couldn't move her from in front of the television. She was playing it all day (in between studying for exams and grading freshman papers). She loves it now! Recently we have been beating each other up in super smash brothers.

I think that the Gamecube is a great family console, and very open to gaming for men and women. The characters in most games are not intimidating in any way, nor are they naked, or with impossible bodily proportions.

All I can say is you made a wise decision.
