What games/systems are you getting for X-mas?

What are you expecting?

I asked for Super Monkey Ball and Super Smash Bros. Melee and bought Wario Land 4 for my fiance.

a DC is hopefully under my tree ... it's the combination of price and game that I'd buy myself so that's what I asked for...

I'm hoping for any of the following xbox titles:
Max Payne
Nightcaster (OK day late but still hoping)
Silent Hill 2
Obi Wan
Azurik (last choice)
Batman (also last choice)

edit: OK I did just open one gift since it was the last night of Hanukkah and got Spiderman for my DC. I've yet to put it in but the screenshots look sweeeet!! I still love my DC

I think I may be getting both new systems for Christmas. I believe my wife is getting me a GameCube and my parents may have gotten me an X-Box. If either happens I should be getting Rouge Leader, Halo and maybe some other games.

You will like Spider-Man. I forgot to put Spider-Man 2 on my list. The last level of the original is hella hard .

I was originally just going to rent it but I've been convinced otherwise:

Picked up Max Payne. My wife's gift to me, but she doesn't know it yet.

I had an X-Box under the tree but I told my GF to take it back because I am still undecided on which system I really want. I now have a gift cert. for that amount under the tree. I am currently leaning toward the GC

Pikmin and... I don't know. Admittedly, there aren't many killer apps for GC right now (I already have SSBM and Madden). Probably Wave Race or Tony Hawk... Probably...

Well, since I just purchased a PS2 (few months ago) and a GameCube this past Friday, I doubt the X-Box will be under my tree. Then again, maybe if I cry to my mom (mind you I'm a 27yr old law student), maybe she will purchase it for me. If not, then I will buy it for myself as a b-day gift in May.

Happy Holidays!!!

I think I'll be buying myself one new xbox game for Christmas -- probably Blood Wake, but I'll wait and check the reviews first.

Well since no one is getting me any video games, I bought myself some.
I got myself a Dreamcast with Grandia 2, Skies of Arcadia, Sega Smashpack, Crazy Taxi, Evolution 2, Shenmue
I'm also getting FFX.

I've got my eye on Nightcaster and Bloodwake.
Bloodwake looks amazing. I can't wait for this one.
Nighcaster, however, I'm not sure about this one but I still want it so that I can have a variety of games to play.

My wife has the Arc the Lad collection preordered for me as a Christmas present. Now if Working Designs would only release it.

Just checked EBworld and its pushed back to January 29th. Damn there goes my present. Maybe I will ask for Breath of Fire GBA instead.

I bought myself a Gamecube with Super Smash Bros. It'll be my first console since the NES.

I asked for Tony Hawk 3 for the PS2. I've rarely enjoyed skateboard/x-treme sports games, but I've rarely seen a game get such universal praise. I'm on the warpath looking for Super Puzzle Fighter for the PSX, but no luck so far.

I'm getting a PS2 for X-Mas... I'm 31 years old and for the amount of time I actually have for gaming, the PS2 was the easy choice for me... Backwards compatibility with the PSX (from launch) and all... Anyhoo... I asked for these...

Grand Theft Auto 3
Tony Hawk 3
Gran Tourismo 3
Madden 2002
Onimusha

Now I just need to find some time to play em'.

This game is awesome! I got it from someone in a newsgroup years ago, but it took LOTS of searching.
Good luck finding one of the best games ever made!
