Any idea if the Brady Games Final Fantasy X guide will suck as much as 9's did?

I usually use a guide after I've beaten a game to just go through and do EVERYTHING the game has to do, but when I looked through Final Fantasy 9's guide, every other hint was "look online for information". What kind of suck is that! Has anyone heard if the Final Fantasy X guide wil be like that?

Hmmmm

I never thought about this but I'm guessing the answer will be yes.

Nothing like pausing the game to run back and surf around for a bit before you race back out. Maybe I just needed a second PC?!?!

That a pretty lame guide and I almost bought it sight unseen one day cause I had cash burning a hole in my pocket. So glad I opened it and saw what a POS it was.

Hah! A true rpger needs no guide to get through the game!

Just kidding....I do the same thing you do , I beat the game without any help and then use a faq after to find stuff I missed or wouldn't have figured out on my own. Find all those hidden extra story parts.

I don't buy guides, but a good free answer to this is www.gamefaqs.com . They have everything there and the faqs are much more informative than brady or any other company and detail every secret. I believe Square put their own FFIX guide on their PlayOnline site I think, but I didn't use it. They might do the same for FFX. Did I mention gamefaqs.com is free?

Pretty much every Brady book sucks! Wait a bit and just snag one of the online FAQ's or guides from IGN or Gamespot!

With the Internet so prevelant I don't see how the hint book makers are staying in business.

I know about gamefaqs, I go there all the time, but for Square games, I usually buy a guide just because there is so much to do in them! I'll pay the $10-$15 for a nice full color with maps and such guide for games I really like (and that are long).

I remember beings so pissed off look at that FFIX guide. I would be playing my game....and then have to go online to look things up. If I wanted to be online I would have used gamefaqs(for FREE). I just hope Brady learned from last time- that online non-strategy guides are a waste of a tree

FFX's strategy guide looks a lot better than IX's. Believe me. Some of the guys were working on it and we could see some different mock up pages. Looks really smooth. And there's none of that "Check out this tip online!" type stuff.

The main reason they did that with IX was because they wanted to push their PlayOnline site. I think it was a bad move, but hey, what do I know?

I'm just gonna check the FFX one to see if it has my name in it, then I'll get it. But I don't think it will because, I uh, didn't really help out that much on it.
