Why are people buying GTA3 for over $50 on ebay?!?!
Does anybody know why people are buying Grand Theft Auto 3 on ebay for more than $50?? Is there a shortage that I don't know about. I just went to Target yesterday and bought it for $45 and they had plenty of them in stock.

There's a rumor going around that it is banned or it will be banned.... Actually one of the Ebay auctions I saw made a point of saying that it was hard to get because it had been "band". So yeah, basically it's because people are stupid.

Partly it's because stupid people believe the rumors that it has been banned, but mostly it's just that the game is freaking hard to find in stores (although it is getting easier now that it's been out a while) due to huge demand. I think some people are just giving up and biting the bullet, paying a little more to avoid the hassle of looking around for it.
