Geez am I the only one that does not like Return to Wolfenstien? I had hella fun with the original years ago but this one does nothing for me even with the eye-candy.

Maybe i'm just bored with the "same old stuff" that PC game maker's have been pimping lately so I just picked up an XBOX and DOA3 becuase " She Kick's High ".

Depends on what you already have. I've heard mixed reviews about Return to Castle Wolfenstein, so I think I will (sadly) stay away until the price drops. It'll be better for my grades, anyways. Heard good things about AvP2, though.

If you don't have Half-Life, or Deus Ex (which I enjoyed MUCH more than Half-Life, although they are both high up there on my all-time faves list), and you want a good FPS, get those two games. They are both probably available for really cheap, and are probably better than most new games you'll find on the shelf right now.

I really like Compuexpert... I've bought many a video game from them online recently. They have great deals that pop up once in a while on their subscriber-only (subscribing is free) "48 Hour Madness Sales." And guess what, DVD Talk has a referral link! So do Geoff some good, use the link, and buy a good FPS game.

Fire bad!

get AVP 2 TRCW has great graphics but he gameplay is lacking. AVP2 has decent graphics great atmosphere and great gameplay. RTCW has a larger online base but I actually enjoy AVP2 online more better, nothing like trying to master 3 unique races

If price is an issue, Serious Sam is dirt cheap and a heckuvalot of fun. Soldier of Fortune has also dropped quite a bit in price and can provide a little gory entertainment. No One Lives Forever is also down around $30 everywhere now.

I still don't get why everyone likes AvP2. I loved the first one, but this one seems really lacking imho. The graphics seem horrible to me, and the game is just boring.
I stopped playing as the Predator halfway through the game b/c i found that i just wasn't having fun.

RTCW on the other hand, had a lot better graphics, and was much more fun to play. The story is ridiculously stupid, but it's still lots of fun to burn zombies with your flame thrower.

RTCW is kinda short in the single player area, but multiplayer is really fun on it.
