Why is everyone getting the black instead? Whats wrong with that other color?

Can someone please tell me what Super Smash Bros Melee is all about? I've never played the one on N64, but I keep reading all the hype about it...and Eternal Darkness too, I think. Whats that all about?

It's a matter of personal preference. I also got Indigo. Most people just prefer black...other than the color there is no difference between the cubes. Remember in Reservoir Dogs when Mr. Pink asks why they couldn't choose their own colors? "Because then you'd all be Mr. Black."

Super Smash Brothers Melee is a fighter game featuring several characters from the Nintendo universe. Eternal Darkness appears to be a Resident Evil type game, although set in several different time periods.

As long as you can play Super Smash Bros Melee on your GameCube, you won't care what color it is.

Relax guy... I was just joking... The color of your video game console makes no difference at all for anything other than interior decorating - Black goes with everything, so it's a good choice. Don't think about the color of your gamething and you'll be fine.

"Indigo" is the discrete way of saying "Tutti-Fruti-Purple".

Hell no! My GBA in Indigo and I love it. Nothing wrong with the Indigo at all. It seems that's Nintendo's new flagship color. However, if they release that pinkish color on a Gamecube that would suck.

I've got an Indigo one and it looks great with my setup. I like having the choice of colors in systems though, that way you can get different ones. Its cool when my friends come over to my house they say "whoa cool! Your gamecube is purple!" 'cause most of'em bought the black one as they say it looks good with their Home Theater.

I don't know if its a mistake because I can't read your mind, if you want a black one go ahead and return your purple one and get a black one , you shouldn't have to worry about it, its really all about the games, do a search there is a thread about super smash bros that has very favorable review by IGN in it, once you start playing Super Smash bros melee the color won't matter

I always try to get a black console. I even have the black Dreamcast, but there is nothing wrong with purple. Buy whatever kind of console you prefer. The Spice one will probably be released here soon, because it's already out in Japan.

I like the indigo better... I've had way too many black consoles, I'm ready for a change.

Why don't you just get pink then you fairy...
