I'm so thankful i didn't make this one of my BUY2GET1FREE games. EGM came out and all three reviewers gave it less than a 5 (out of 10) i think the score were 4 4 and 3. THe curse of the simpsons games continues.

Actually, there was a PC version of the arcade sidescroller that was okay, but not a perfect port. However, you can download the ROM for MAME and play the original.
I haven't seen any reviews for "Simpsons Road Rage." Are the complaints just that it's too similiar to "Crazy Taxi," or are there other problems as well?

I played it at Babbages and thought it was a lot of fun. It's just like Crazy Taxi (a little slower) and the quotes are very funny. If you're a fan you'll have a good time. At EA's website, if you enter "canyonero" in the search engine, you can order the game for $40 instead of $50.

I need it for GC. I have never played Crazy Taxi though. What is the point of the game? I just figured it was Simpsons and a racing game or something? Someone please inform stupid ol me

In Crazy Taxi you play a cab driver (fancy that) that drives around picking people up and getting them to their destination within the time limit. Lots of driving around like a maniac doing whatever it takes to get the best fares. From what I understand, Simpson's Road Rage is the same thing but with Simpson's characters (and cars...including Mr. Plow!). Also, it has multiplayer (Crazy Taxi does not).
