Madden 2002 Game Cube
I rented Madden 2002 for the Game Cube tonight... Very nice! I haven't played it on the PS2 so it's hard to compare.
Graphics look clean and sharp, and the game play is great. I really like the GC controler, don't feel like I am hunting for buttons.
Unfortunately I got beat by my bro (chitowndvd)
Bears: 23
Browns: 7
Oh well

I'm already not liking sports games for the Gamecube since they're such memory hogs for the tiny Gamecube memory cards, especially with franchise modes. Guess I'll stick with the Xbox or PS2 versions of the good sports games unless they are Gamecube exclusive.

You know once I played NFL2k I swore off the Madden series. But I decided to actually give it a shot for the cube and it is a damn good game. Much more depth than NFL2k.
I am torn between Sega and EA sports now.

I'm holding off on the sports games until I can get the SD adaptor. I would much rather buy one big SD card for $50 and not have to worry about memory cards any more.
I played Madden 2002 with a friend and it is amazing. I purchased NFL2K2 for the Dreamcast, but I will probably move back to Madden on the Gamecube. However, NBA2K2 is still my favorite game, so that had better come to Gamecube because I still don't like NBA Live.

Awesome game! I had doubts about buying the game. Now that I bought it, my roommate and I can play heated games for hours. I played NFL2K1 and a little of 2K2, but Madden has tons more depth. This game is a definite must buy.
