Amazon: winter jampack w/the buy 2 get one free offer

I just got an e-mail that claims that the winter jampack was cancelled. So they adjusted my order total.
No more 49.99 coupon.
So if you took advantage of the buy 2 get one free offer and used the winder jampack, check your order total.

they can do anything they like. I will pay only what I contracted with them to pay. if not I will dispute the overcharge. I do think it is funny that they cancelled the jampack saying the item was unavailable and then placed the last game in shipping soon mode meaning i am unable to cancel it. I will be paying the original total minus 9.99 for the jampack. now i am getting a better deal. I have not aproved the change to this order so they have two options ship the jampack and charge me the original amount or minus the jampack from the original amount.

They already backed down on one order i made when they tried to charge me an additional 5.51. I got a credit for that overcharge already. now they will get a email letting them know they need to do it again.

stupid on their part.

by the way here is the link to the jampack at playstation.com Sony's own retail website
http://www.us.playstation.com/produc...0325&CATID=110

I saw the disc at walmart today. It is out not cancelled.

I haven't gotten my Winter Jampack yet, but have gotten the two games I ordered (MGS2 & Crash). I told Amazon to ship when all were available, but they sent me those two already. My card has only been charged ~$45, with another $10 coming from the Jampack. I'll be curious to see what they do with my order.

Hmmm, I also had my 2 games ship (MGS2 and 007), and was charged $45. Waiting on Jampack ($10.99). I'm wondering if I should cancell the remaining item and call it even Any thoughts one way or the other?

If you cancel this yourself....you will lose the coupon and pay full price for the two games that you received. Let them cancel this as they did with my order. See above for the response I received to them cancelling my Jampack etc.....

I received an email stating the jampack would be unavailable so they cancelled it....within the email it had stated that this may ruin my promotion. I emailed them(threatened them with cc complaint) and they responded back stating I would not be charged any additional fees since it was their cancellation and not mine.

The problem I am having is that I am being charged 9.01 more than I should. 5.51 for the 10 off 75 gift cert they only used 4.49 of in my first game has now disappeared and they are charging me an additional 3.50 in shipping for the second game because they shipped them separately when I had selected to ship them together.

I emailed them back again explaining their math errors and of course documenting this for a dispute if they do not give me my credit. either way i wll get them for the right price. I just hate wasting the time. I however will do it if they do not give in since I refuse to let them make these kinds of errors on orders and keep the money no matter what deal i got.

If it makes you feel any better, they just cancelled my JamPack, shipped my remaining game out, and they tacked on another $8.98 shipping charge! I was already charged like $4.64 when the first game shipped out. I've e-mailed them twice in the last 3 days, and haven't heard ANYTHING back. Is there an 800# I can call to get someone on the phone? I searched all over the site and found nothing.

I probably shouldn't complain, as I got 2 PS2 games for the price of 1, used the $10 off $60 coupon, as well as $25 in LightSpeed GCs. But I still want my $9 back, which would bring my total out-of-pocket cost down to $21!

Heck, if I didn't like the games (though I do), I could sell them on eBay for an easy $60-80 profit! Gotta love it.

djones, thanks for the advice. My jampack was cancelled. MGS2 and 007 for $45 shipped. Pretty sweet (and I exchanged 007 for Splash Down at Wally World to boot).
Still, I really wonder about why Amazon cancelled the Jampack. The disc was certainly not cancelled, it was at Walmart today for $7.98 and I almost picked it up to check out the demos for FFX and Jak & Daxter.

I would guess there were only so many available(or that Amazon was willing to order) and with so many people using this as a game for their promotion in October.....simply ran out of the title and refused to order more.

No... Once they charge your card, they won't go back and charge it again because you cancel unshipped items. Usually they divide the discount evenly, or tack it on to the last items shipped. for some reason, they put it on the first items in this promotion. So if anyone has one game shipped already for free, and two more waiting to ship at full price, they could cancel the rest of the order, and keep the free game.
