I'm sure that was a planed product placement. MS has the money plus development and test Xboxes (which look almost exactly like production models) have been out for months.

The GF said the green start up screen was in the background through a whole scene and they mentioned that it was an XBox as well. It wasnt just sitting there in the background they actually worked a XBox reference into a joke.
