Since there is a list for Gamecube and X-Box games, I think it would be a good idea to make one for the other systems as well. I was going to do one for my personal favorite system, the GBA But there were *way* too many games coming on that machine, so I decided to do the PS2 one instead. Still, there is no way I'm going to include PS2 releases for 2002 as well - that would take me days.

The list is compiled from the release dates presented on Ebworld.com and Gamestop.com. Any discrepancies in release dates should be blamed at distributors and publishers - not me.

October-released games that are well-received by critics. First score is by ps2.ign.com, second score by Gamespot.

FFX, after being pushed up to 12/26/01 last week by EBGames has now been pushed back to 1/02/02 as of today. It is definately coming in January, but may still come in December.

Because coupled with the GBA that would be way too damn_many stickies. I suspect (hope?) that after the XBox & GC are released, those threads will be un-stickfied and a single thread with links to the release date threads is put in their place.

WOW! Didn't they push it back it back to an unannounced date in first quarter 2002?? To see it in December would be just too great ... just if it's done right (complete)

I dunno, we've already got 4 sticky threads. Maybe they should just make a one and only upcoming release thread for all games including PC, console, and GBA?

I think that would be a great idea - but who would maintain it?

Well, I guess I'd volunteer you, josh, and flay. You could each manage your respective sections of the thread. The first three posts would be from you three with the data you've collected and you guys could then edit your own posts to update it.

I agree this is the way to go. no one is allowed to post in it or if they do( with info) they must delete it after the info is added.

like they do over in the dvd clubs forum.
