How is the franchise mode on NBA 2k2 for DC?

I was thinking of buying NBA 2k2 for Dreamcast but after the last couple 2k1 disappointing Franchise modes, I was a bit hesitant. Is it worth upgrading?

I haven't played franchise mode yet, but I can tell you that the improvements in player movements alone are worth the upgrade. It's amazing how much the gameplay has improved. More realistic turnarounds, fluid jumpers, great post control. Also, because it's the next year, past players have upgraded abilities, and all the new rookies are in there.

I'd definately get it if I were you. I'm having a blast playing it.

Unfortunately the franchise mode is the same. It is faster scrolling through the free agent list, but you can still manipulate the salary cap pretty easily. And the draft sucks.

But the game play is a lot of fun. I traded in 2k1 and a couple other games and picked this up for $10. Very glad I did.
