So, this Buy 2 Get 1 Thing....

That TRU/Amazon had last week....

Anyone else think this is Sony's plan? Just sort of getting people to open their wallets on a "great deal", and maybe pass on the Cube or XBOX early November?

It worked for me anyway. I originally wanted to pick up a Cube at launch, but with 8 new PS2 games @ $200 I just couldn't pass up the deal. So I'll be waiting for a bit watching how the market reacts to the Cube and BOX.

I just think this was GREAT timing on the part of Sony to do this. Makes gamers happy.

I think Oliver Stone was involved as well.

My sister had dinner with Oliver Stone in NYC last Tuesday. She said she didn't know who he was until the group of people she was with told her after the dinner. My sister is bit of a ditz.

I was kind of thinking that, but why Amazon? Wouldn't they do it through every where? And I can't wait till my games ship from the grassy knoll

Why not Amazon and TRU? The nations largest online retailer, and largest toy store?

Makes sense, they don't lose TONS of money, but they make a lot of people happy.

Youre asking the wrong questions. Dont ask Why not. Ask who benefits...

Oh wait you said that. Sony. OK then, maybe.
