Tony Hawk 3 now a Gamecube Launch Title

It was previously rumored to be coming out in December.

from www.fgnonline.com:

Tony Confirmed for Cube Launch

Gamecube: Activision lets us know once again that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 is set to become a Gamecube launch title.

Just in case you didn't hear the company the first few times, Activision has again confirmed that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 is set to launch simultaneously with Gamecube on Nov. 18.

Play as the legendary Hawk or one of 12 other professional skateboarders, with access to hundreds of real-world tricks and even a few farfetched ones. The title will set you back $49.99.

Yep, I heard this as well...this should be a good enticement to getting the GameCube. However, I have heard the music and videos are cut versus the PS2 version. However, the GC version has a few extra graphical tweaks than the PS2 version. THPS3 was ported from the PS2 foundation to the GC, I know a guy who worked on it at Neversoft.

Wow. This is excellent news. This will undoubtedly be a big factor in the selling of Gamecube. THPS is a huge franchise, that could even sway shoppers...

Although, that X-Box version of THPS2 sounds pretty sweet...All the levels from Tony Hawk 1 & 2, with the gameplay of THPS2....[drool]

I'd like to manual in School I, just for kicks...
