U.S. Gamecube Launch Line-up finally confirmed.

from www.fgnonline.com:

I'm definitely getting Rogue Leader on launch day, assuming I find a GC. I will probably pick up Wave Race, and Luigi's Mansion shortly there after, though I may just rent the latter. Madden 2002 is a possibility, though I may just hold out for next years NFL2K game as I like sega's football better than madden.

Looks like I'll be getting SSX, and Rogue Leader...and I will be waiting for EA to ship out NHL 2002 or the next one after that...logically, 2003

For me, the only one worth getting is Rogue Leader, but unfortunately that won't warant the purchase of a Gamecube.

Looks like I will be waiting for Perfect Dark 2 or a new Conker game before buying a Gamecube; whichever comes first. A new Resident Evil game or Turok: Evolution may also put a Gamecube in my living room.

Unfortunately, I don't think that list is accurate. According to IGN and other sites, a number of those games have already been delayed to December or later.

    From IGN :

    Universal Studios Park Adventure
    Super Monkey Ball
    Sega Puzzle
    Luigi's Mansion
    Madden NFL 2002
    The Simpsons Road Rage
    NHL Hitz 2002
Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II
    Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2
    All-Star Baseball 2002
    Crazy Taxi
    Wave Race: Blue Storm

Everything else is December or later.

Which is fine with me, personally. The only game I want anyway is Rogue Leader. I might get Wave Race eventually, since it's supposed to be amazing, but that's good for now. I never buy that many games for my systems anyway. Just the quality ones I want.

And Rogue Leader is the only game coming out for the next-gen consoles in the near future that I am interested in at all, so I'll be a happy campy on the 18th as long as I get my Rogue Leader.

Planet GameCube lists these three as December games also, so it looks like the number of launch games could be in the single digits. I was really hoping for Extreme G3 to be out at launch, but I'll have to wait another month for it. I currently plan on getting Wave Race and Monkey Ball at launch.

Do you guys know where you are going to get your Gamecube on release day? (assuming you did not order a bundle)

That looks pretty poor for a release list? Considering that EAD didn't even do the new Wave Race, and Amazon just sucked up all my video gaming money for PS2 games, I'm going to have to skip this console for a while.

the 2 games I'm greatly anticipatin. I'm going to pick up the cube and Rogue Leader just to keep that launch day tradition going- there's nothing better than the feeling of getting your hands on the new nintendo system at launch.

    I preordered:

    &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspMadden 2002
    &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspLuigi's Mansion

Dark Tomorrow is definitely not launch. Feb or March 2002 at best. Already officially delayed.

Pikmin comes out on Dec. 3, the same day as Super Smash Bros. Melee. It's only a couple of weeks after launch, so it's no big deal.

Here's a link to Gamecube release dates.
