When playing games does it throw off your eating/sleeping habits?
Right now I'm playing Marvel vs Capcom 2 and dont want to eat till after I finish the whole game and even then I continue to play so I could get the other characters.
Other times when I'm playing games especially new ones I'll stay up all night to play it.
So does this happen to you?

Well....when I first got my PS I was playing FFVII non stop. It got to the point where I would pass out with the controller in my hands and wake up WAY late for work. I learned to break that habit fast.
And way back when Zelda came to the Gameboy I worked like mad to finish the game as fast as I could. 6 hours later I was done and damn_near blind.
I like to take about 30 minutes or so each night to play. I have so many hobbies that I have to really divide up my time.

When I got Grandia 2 I stayed up pretty late each night for a whole week to play it , when chuchu rocket first came out, i was online the whole night , when I played FF7 I pretty much left on my machine for the whole week (though those random battles were really annoying).
Now, everynight I play at least 1 game of starcraft and 1 game of unreal tourn.

I generally don't have this problem, but Everquest did me in big time. Because it's online, you can't just pause the game. Not to mention that if you want to do anything meaningful it takes at least an hour, if not more. I can't believe how much time that game sucked away. I'd look at my watch, and suddenly 3 or 4 hours had passed, and my XP bar had barely moved. I'm so glad I quit!

When I was in high school I played FFVII a lot. Then Xenogears came out and I played that day and night and eating in between for breaks . My friends and I would have Goldeneye tournaments at night. I wish I had that kind of time now in college.
Man those were the days

Just yesterday I decided to play Alien Crossfire - I thought I would get the file started, do the first 50 turns or so.
I finally finished 5 hours later, having played through THE ENTIRE GAME in one sitting. It's so damn addicting

I went 40 hours without sleeping or eating when I was playing Master of Orion 2. Got stuck in that "one more turn" groove. Fortunately, I did have the sense to go to the bathroom

I thought I was bad with my 20 hour session, I went from 2pm until 10ish the next afternoon. But twice that?

My college roommate and I got almost every star in Mario 64 the first weekend I bought the game. We had three other roommates who kept walking through the living room saying "Are you STILL playing that?"
I had a bunch of late nights with Max Payne and several long long sessions with RTCW. Can't wait for the actual release of that game. Goodbye weekends!
