Xbox Halo loses another feature...

It has been confirmed that Halo will not feature any bots for its multiplayer modes. Bots have become a standard feature in EVERY recent FPS. Even the later N64 games were able to provide both a great single player and multiplayer modes with bots (Perfect Dark, CBFD, etc). Xbox games should have MORE features than N64 games not less. Another promised feature that Xbox Halo will not deliver:

Original 3rd person perspective ditched.
No online play.
60fps downgraded to 30fps.
No bots.

The lack of online play in the Xbox version was the biggest blow to that game. The PC version is really the only one worth getting now. So much for Halo being the killer app for the Xbox.

We reading the same thing?

Anyway.....I'm not getting an XBox or Gamecube so I'm not on either side but

This really would make me wonder about the power of this system and the quality of the games it'll have. Wonder if and when comapnies will no longer back XBox due to the fact that it can't produce games with the features that a "next generation" system should have. Heck like CreatureX said if the old systems can have them then why not the new? Oh wait....I agreed with CreatureX. Does that make me pathetically insecure as well?

So much for the all-powerful Xbox. Why did they remove those features, and why did they lower the fps to 30 if Xbox is supposedly such a powerful machine?

Just my 2 cents.. but they're probably rushing it out the door for the launch. They shouldn't have hyped it up so much.

I thought the PC version was ditched. I have been way behind in getting the latest PC news.

I'm just sad that Halo is a shell of what it could have been. Word is there is no PC port coming and that X-Box is the only way you will play this game. This is just a rumor though (or maybe it isn't by now).

to ipkevin,
please refrain of making those type of comments. ALL your posts in here were inappropriate. this is an official warning.

to all others,
just because one user makes a bad choice and starts behaving inappropriately, that doesn't give you the right to act in the same manner attacking that user back.

anyway, if anyone would like a further discussion on this, please start a NEW thread.
