Hey losers, here is a deal for you...

Just needed to get your attention. This may be in the Other Bargains forum for all I know, but you guys need to see it. I picked up two with a $15 off coupon

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...014777-5271047

It is the N64 Pikachu Hardware Bundle. Normally $199, but only $49.99. Return for credit somewhere or go get on EBAY.

Checked ebay, 1 going for 75, another @ 50. If you are gonna use this for a return beforewarned, they may not take it back due to serial # issues.

Just saw that, but they will make great gifts. Anyone know where to pick up cheap used (or new) N64 games?

Basically its a zip drive that allows you to backup your games that plugs right into the cartridge port. I had one back when I owned a N64, sold it though as my N64 collected dust while I was playing my PSX.

edit - it's a Z64, which are no longer being made. I've seen them on Ebay and Yahoo auctions, if you look hard enough, pretty much anything can be found.

I thought about getting this, but then again I'm wondering why not just get a gamecube instead.
What does the N64 have now that I would be interested in playing besides golden eye?
So that's why I am passing on this.

The only reason(s) to get this:

1) A great early XMAS gift for the young kids
2) If you've always wanted an N64
3) If you definitely can trade it in for $200 credit or whatever

Otherwise, the $50 would be better spent buying a next-gen system like the Cube or pickin up a Dreamcast for $79 (It soon will drop to $49 rumors say).

if you want to trade it in to EB its not worth it... they only will give you 20-30 bucks for it.

I said IF. Like mljones99 said, EB will probably give you crap for it...but maybe you could sell it on eBay, or to a big chain store (TRU, BB etc) and with a lot of arguing you might get some credit for it. Say you lost the receipt and you want store credit...works sometimes. Of course, keep the damn thing wrapped

Yeah, avoid EB.... I tried to get store credit for a never before opened N64 that I got from amazon after a coupon (just like this thread is about but it was just the plain green one) and they gave me 20 bucks
