It's a neat little strategy game. I'm not fond of turn based games, but this one is pretty cool. It's easy to pick up and there is a good varied amount of units. So far I've only played through the training missions but that opened up Campaign, Level design, and some other stuff.

I'm really enjoying this one a lot right now. I picked it up Wednesday, and so far I've finished the tutorial mode and the first "real" mission. It's pretty addictive - I ended up playing it until 4 in the morning on Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Combined with my recent rediscovery of Skies of Arcadia (which I had abandoned for a while due to a busy schedule), I've been pulling a lot of late nights lately.

Picked it up today and I'm playing through the training missions. Yes, it is very hard to stop playing once you start. K-Mart still has in on sale for $25.99. Great game.

It's one of the best games I own. I took IGN.com's excellent recommendation and bought the game a few hours after reading their review.
Of course, my check card was declined in the checkout line and I had one HELL of a time paying for the game (and the Warren Sapp McFarlane figure) but when I got home it was worth the headache.
The training missions are required so that you know what every unit does, and how to play the game period. You can't skip them, but it's for your own good.
Once the campaign mode starts, the fun REALLY begins.
Great game.

I just finished mission 7 of the campaign and I love this game. The fog of war missions are a pain though. There is such a great assortment of tanks, planes, and boats to use. Its great to see such a simple game be so good.

I've been playing it for almost a week now, and I'm totally hooked. It's HARD, though! Well, either that or I'm just not very good at it. I don't think I've beaten a mission on the first try yet. And Fog Of War missions are a major pain! Stupid reefs...

I for one am not to thrilled with the fog of war, but it does add to the challenge. You end up having to lose several times on the same mission just to find out what you are up against. Every time I think I am going to win the enemy pops a few more hidden planes out of hidding and destroys me. I for one like seeing what vehichles the enemy has and setting up my strategy from there. This wandering around in the dark waiting to get attacked kind of sucks. Its still a great game, but you will have to replay the later fog of war levels several times to beat them.

(Probably picking one up tonight...)
