Devil May Cry is the MGS2 killer.
I started playing the full version JAP Devil May Cry (DMC) last night and all I have to say is WOW.
Now I loved MGS but I liked Syphon Filter just a bit more because it was more fast paced, but obviously the graphics were not up to par with MGS.
But Devil May Cry is on the same level as MGS2 in every way. And it is action packed. MGS2 is going to have a run for it's money. (Although I'll end up buying both)

it's too short, though. we got it in at my store, and a couple of the customers have complained about the length of the game. although, MGS2 won't be any longer than about 15 or 20 hours as well.
