This might be it:
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI...tem=1270713985

They seem to actually end around $700 or so.

I wouldn't bet on this being legal.

Me either. It's a new seller (sunglasses) with no feedback for anything. Also a member since August 14th. Now, I just started buying on eBay, so I shouldn't talk. I am also thinking about selling things as well and hope to build my feedback. This just seems a little large of an item to be your first sell though IMO.

Smells like a scam to me, plus they probably are backups.

How does eBay monitor this? Can they/we do anything if you are sold a backup?

My brother dropped way too much money on a bootleg GBC cart that he thought was individual games. He filed with the Postal Service for mail fraud, but they only seem to care about large offenders. eBay says they will refund you something like $100-150 in the case of fraud, but with my brother they seemed to take the stance that the sale of bootlegs is prohibited as is the purchase, so he's somehow responsible. In essence, a crock.

Many of the listed games are DVD-Rom based. Will the new DVD-Rs copy them? I guess they could be backups from Asia or something. Other than that, I wasn't aware of anyway to bootleg the DVD based games.

There's nothing saying these aren't just CD-R rips.
