Price for X-box

MSRP for X-box would be around $ 300. Is that kind of price tag seem attractive?

WoW... That's the ultimate marketing strategy. I could almost forsee the result. GC would really sell like hotcakes.
Microsoft's advantage?

There's no longer need for loud advertisement. Capital is saved.

Suddenly X box cut in 40% (more or less )of the already saturated console systems market share

Within first two weeks of its release No of x box systems sold in US alone would doubled no of PS2 sold in Japan.

Non gamers would chipped in their hard earned income into x box, including games and accesories, considering Christmas would be near by.

Further results :

Strong pro Sony software developers such as Squaresoft would defect to this new allied forces, Nintendo/ Microsoft. This would further promote their ambition of total market domination.

Sony strikes back. Slashing prices to $ 99.99.

Swearing allegience to Sega. Forming a new Axis powers. Sharing resources to make a dream machine into reality. This machine would be called "Illusion"

Thus 4 console competitors we have at first have now evolved into 2 opposing tag teams.

Thus the gamers would continue playing their favourite games happily ever after.....

$300 seems very likely, although they might lower the price depending on what Sony does. And we all know that Sony will most likely drop the price of the PS2.

I'd never pay more than $200 for a standard system + 1 controller.
