Need a little help from Goblincat
I have downloaded a old favorite, Buck Roger: Matirx cubed, but cannot get it to run. When I click on the "start" icon I get a message in the Dos area that Tandy 1000 users should make sure the Num lock is on. It is. Anyway, you have probably run into these types of things. Any idea how to get something like this to run?

The first thing I see when I start is a choice of graphics modes, EGA, Tandy or VGA. I choose VGA and it worked great. Do you get this choice?
If you chose Tandy, and that is screwing you up, the way to get the config stuff to come up again is to delete the file called "matrix.cfg". That is the file where graphic and sound choices are stored.

Also, it will ask you for "word something from paragraph something form page whatever", you know, the old way of stopping pirates. Just hit enter a few times and it will let you by.
I never played this one. I played the first game on my Commodore back in the day, but never got to this one. I take it that it must be pretty good. Maybe I'll give it some play.

I get to it by going to "explore" and clicking on the file. The only .exe file in that file is start.exe. When I double click it, I instantly get what I posted. I never get any other options. ARGH!
I actually remebered it while playing Fallout, so maybe that tells you something.

Don't know. I'm on my home computer now. I downloaded it from here and had no problem. Must just be something at work, but it is essentially the same computer. But I did download it from a different site, so that may be it. Thanks.

Yep, but as fate would have it, I only play it at home anyway.
Have you had a chance to play it? I really prefer a simple game that is all gameplay to crap that is 1/2 movie, ya' know.

Similar to The Bards Tale, only in a post-nuclear war Las Vegas area. Lots of guns and explosives. Probably the only game I still go back to every few years. It's been freeware for some time now.
