So Namco's not releasing this for the PS2? Oh well, at least that's one less game I'll be forced to buy when I get my PS2...

The article says that it's coming to GameCube, but it doesn't say it will be exclusive to GC. I'm guessing it will probably show up on other systems too, especially PS2.

Now there is no reason to keep my DC. j/k

I would like to see how this would stack up to the DC version though. And I wonder if there will be some new characters.

man... this is a good thing it's going to be on the GC. The contoller for the system looks built fo fighting games, where as the playstation controller is uncomfortable for fighters in my opinion. I have faith that this one will be better than soul calibur, though i do hope they add more characters, choices of completely different weapons, and the old weapon breaking system from soul edge. That would make the game much better.

For some reason, I don't see this as being exclusive GameCube. Nintendo (especially N64) isn't at all known for its fighting games. So a lot of people who would buy this game probably have PS2. It wouldn't make much sense not to put this on PS2 as well. Never know of course ...
