I do... My friend even had a "blue" psx that was called a 'Debugging Station'. This unit was BLUE in color, and would play all PSX discs, (black bottom, Imports, CDrs), etc. These units were what developers used while they were making the games, and beta testing them. Very cool.

If you do own a chipped PSX, email me for some 'interesting' info on the game "Thrill Kill"

I have a mod chip that I bought off the net for my PS2 the coolest part is that my friend went to Japan on business and picked me up a Japanese copy of Final Fantasy X. Didn't Thrill Kill get canned because of excessive violence?

Yeah but an alpha copy was leaked. I saw it at a VGE once, pretty crappy.

I have that one too....

There were 2 copies leaked:

Alpha: Had only 3 playable levels, no endings, no FMV opennings, endings, etc.

Full Beta Gold: Had full intro, more songs, all playable characters, all playable rooms, FMV color endings for each character, and unlocked 'goodies' when you finished the game.

I am the no...

If I had a computer which worked for burning "backups" then I might have chipped it... but I don't..and I can;t read Japanese so imports aren't really worth it.

I have two PSXs - one is chipped to play only import games (no CDRs) so I could play Metal Slug X and Tobal 2 (I own the original imports) and the other I bought when games started being released that wouldn't work in chipped machines.

The Thrill Kill engine was licensed for use in Wu-Tang Clan or something like that. I have played Thrill Kill, and it wasn't anything great or anything. I'd prefer a Capcom game anyday...

Anyways....I got 2 PS's. One is chipped, but its the first model which overheats. And I have an unchipped one which is the model that came out right before PSOne came out.

I got one...don't play it too much anymore, though....

Waiting for Madden 2002 on the Xbox or PS2 (leaning toward the Xbox)...

I think that most people who don't won't bother to open the thread and vote no.
