Trains in GTA?

Where are the trains in GTA for playstation? I remember them in the PC version. Did they take them out for PS? Or do I just need to wait a little bit longer. I have not seen them anywhere.

If I remember right there are only tracks no trains themselves. I remember sitting in a lot close to a train track for over an hour on day blowing up cop cars and stuff just for fun, and never had the train go by.
