Super Mario Bros.2 for the original NES is one of my favorite all time video game endings.

FF8!! I loved it. FF7 was great, but FF9 was pretty damn good too. Just a bit obvious though.

I'd have to say that Monkey Island II had one of the best endings I'd ever seen. Very unexpected and a big surprise, I still remember it fondly.

I have to second FF8, that ending was so dramatic i liked it alot. Conker BFD and Onimusha also had good endings.

Loved the first game's ending, the second one didn't even hold a candle to the name of half-life.


another great ending... FF3.. i could stay at that screen of stars for hours hearing that midi.

The multiple endings for Castlevania 2:Simon's Quest.
I almost cried when it said I didnt survive my injuries during the tje battle with Dracula. At least I took the bastard out with my last breath.

When I read it... i was like... WTF? What a friggin' downer! I loved it!

THX I hear ya man I too got a little misty, but then I beat the game again and got the better ending. I didnt think I'd get like that over another ending until I beat Symphony of The Night. I played it for at least 9 months before I defeated Dracula. After getting I believe 175% or more I got the best ending possible. I only hope Castlevania gets another face lift on PS2 or GameCube, but I'll settle for Circle of the Moon on GameBoy Advance.
