Guys everything has to go. :( Folks are getting divorced and I need money. :(

I had this is the "DVD Exchange" board but it got closed. So here it goes again in the proper board. They were kind enough to let it go on for a few day so I thank them. I also made a few updates because I found some were confused about how much I was actually selling my stuff for.

Hey guys this is the worst post that I've ever had to make. To keep it short and simple my parents are getting divorced and my cheating dad is the one to blame. My mom wants a divorce and half of everything so she and I can go on with our lives. We spoke to a really good lawyer and based on what papers we have which is everything we have a really good case. Problem is he wants payment first which is $3,500. Nothing starts untill he gets paid and we need to do this ASAP. Its hard to believe but they don't have a payment plan, no taking it out of our earnings from the case or anything. He wants payment up front. Problem is my mom nor I have the money so we can't get anything done until than. So I'm forced to sell everything I have to get this done ASAP. Game systems, games, and home theater. Everything has to go.

Everything is sold, thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who purchase games and electronics. God Bless You

Ferdinand Torres

Just wondering, why are the games not in official cases? For one or two it's understandable, but your post makes it sound like ALL games are in generic DVD cases. Is this the case?

About the cases. I bought some of them used but they were in mint condition except for the case so I wanted to save a few bucks. Everything is mint the manual, disc, cover sleeve. I just didn't like the condition of the cases on some so I changed them. They either too scratched up, stickers, tears or cuts in the plastic. Whatever the reason it was changed because of a damaged case. Not all of the games have standard DVD's cases only a few. Plus I got the cases for free so it didn't cost me anything.

I just wanted to say my heart goes out to you and your family. Messy divorces are a really tough time for a family. Especially for the kids in the family. I hope everything works out ok.

All the best...

David

Hey guys I'll be at work all day tomorrow(Aug. 1) so please be patient as I won't be able to respond to your email until late tomorrow night.

On a side note I'd just like to say thank you to everyone who decided to purchase product off me. If everyone pulls thru I'll have the money I need in about 2 weeks which is alot sooner than I expected. I really appreciate it guys.

Thanks,
Ferdinand

dayum... you certainly weren't a deprived youth. Kudos to you for such an unselfish act. I went through a similar situation except it was my mother who cheated on my father (and she was the one who had the high-priced lawyer and got more than half... funny how things work - no justice in the world). Anyway - you're a good son. Hope things work out for the best for you and your mom.

Looks like alot of stuff has been claimed already... I'll check back tomorrow once you've done an update.

I missed this thread earlier, unfortunately, cause I would probably have bought a few items from you. But it looks like the sale is going well.

Good luck with everything, and sorry to hear about the situation.
