Is this video for "Weapon of Choice" directed by the master music video director Spike Jonze the best thing on MTV and other video stations now or what? My friend asked me if I had seen it yet a couple days ago and I hadn't but I saw it yesterday and have seen it a couple times since. It is so hilarious to see Walken dance and it never gets old for me. One of my favorite videos of all time already (in fact right up there with Jonze's other Fatboy Slim video in front of that movie theater.) Anybody who has seen it want to weigh in with an opinion or name their favorite video on television right now or favorite ever?

I never knew Christopher Walken was such a smooth dancer. Aside from those parts where they have the double, he's really pretty good.

But I'll still have to go with Coffee & TV by Blur as my favorite.

I saw this video for the first time just last night. I turned to MTV just after it said who the video was by, so I didn't know it was Fatboy Slim until the end. All I knew was that I was watching Christopher Walken dance, and I loved it. I was mesmerized by it in fact. I haven't seen anything this cool on MTV for months (besides jackass, of course). I now have a new appreciation for Christopher Walken.

I also just caught the freaky animated video for the band Gorillaz's song "Clint Eastwood." Very very interesting. Some good videos out there, especially on MTV2.

This is a very funny video, very original. I think the best part is when he dives over the side of the railing and starts flying, just looks funny when he jumps.

That video rules! I'm always watching MTV2 at work (hehe, when its slow, we sell DirecTV in my department, so I can watch whatever) and its definately one of my favorites in rotation right now. The Gorillaz video rocks too. Oh dammit! This week is freaking "TRL Viewer Appreciation Week" on regular MTV which means Carson Daly 24/7...and MTV2 is going to be completely viewer controlled...which means it will probably be the same Incubus video over and over again...dammit!

I was always under the impression that Roman Coppola helped direct that first Fatboy Slim video, with the Torrance City Dancers, and not Spike. But I do love the Christopher Walken video, excellent!

I've read, that in his younger years, Walken wanted a career in dance. He's supposed to have been (and is) very good. He even sings. I was watching Prophecy the other day, it he moves very fluidly in that flick. Dancing is just not someone one imagines when they think of Walken -- who's made a career of playing slightly askew characters (to say the least). It just like Jonze to come up with that.

I'm sah-reeee, that suck'd!

You guys are both right. Both Roman Coppola AND Spike Jonze directed the video (they're brother-in-laws)... BTW: I live in Torrance, CA and there is no such thing as the Torrance City Dancer.. LOL (imagine my suprise when I first saw that video!)

I watched him in "The Actor's Studio" where he was explaining how he started his career in broadway musicals.... yes BROADWAY MUSICALS!! that will explain the moves he was bustin in that great video.
