I see he is hosting it again tonight. What has it been so far, 8, 9 times that he has hosted? Does anyone know if there is anyone who has hosted it more than him?

This I believe is Alec Baldwin's 9th time hosting the show, I do not know who has the record.

Yeah that skit was pretty funny, but the 'shweaty balls' skit was funnier because it was the first and this one didn't have the same hilarious impact.
I'd have to say overall I'm pleasantly surprised by tonight's show. I haven't been watching SNL a whole lot lately, but it's nice that so far they haven't had any horridly disgusting or obnoxious skits, and so far it's been pretty funny tonight. Too bad the Weekend Update newscasters still suck.

I don't know that he holds any records, but I just saw a rerun of his "Canteen Boy" skit where he comes on to Adam Sandler. It was freaky, yet funny as hell.

LOL, yeah that was funny in a disturbing way. Alec Baldwin can be a pretty funny guy given the right script, and I never even thought of him as funny until I saw him on SNL.

Did any of the skits make fun of Alec Baldwin's much publicized statement that he would leave the U.S. if Dubya won the election?

The opening monologue mentioned it some.

But I for one thought tonights SNL was the worst I've seen in a while, and that's really bad. None ofthe sketches were laugh out loud funny. Even Weekend Update was a shadow of itself. Man was it unfunny.

I thought the show was pretty good overall and I though Weekend Update was one of the high points. If for nothing else than Tina Fey's discoure on Hugh Hefner's "harem" and the Kid Rock guest appearance. Was pretty funny tonight overall.

Tom Hanks has hosted a lot too, I think more than Baldwin, but I don't think more than Steve Martin.

The best moment in last night's show was the slip-up in the "Schweaty Wiener" sketch when one of the girls proclaimed that she really liked his "piener." (or something along those lines) Ah, I was laughin at that for a good minute or so. As were the cast members.

Ahh was that what she said? I could tell something happened that wasn't supposed to but must've been paying attention to something else at the moment.

It sounded to me like she started to say "penis" and caught herself at "pe...".

While what I saw was funny, why did Alec Baldwin host? He doesn't have anything coming out soon, so what was the reason? Loved the guest shot by Kid Rock, he seems like a relatively normal guy with a fun attitude about his image.

She got a little farther into it than that. I would say more like "Peni.." . man that was funny.

Pearl Harbor comes out next month and TNT is rebroadcasting "Nuremberg" later this month.

I think the word she was supposed to say was "weiner". She did a freudian slip and was about to say "peiner" and caught herself at "pein-"

As for hosting records, here are the Top 10 (except last night's Alec Baldwin ep), with Steve Martin leading:

I didn't think Saturday's Snl was funny at all, and I usually love the show. It was a waste of my time, sadly. Alec Baldwin should get out of showbiz and never come back.

Alec Baldwin did an EXCELLENT Charles Nelson Reilly. We were howling at that "Inside Teh Actor's Studio" sketch. Will Ferrell really has that host guy down.

I guess you can almost always find at least somebody who will say that about every person in showbiz out there.
