So, I'm watching the old reruns on TNN and I forgot how great this show was.
Anyone else love WKRP in Cincinnati?
Funny, smart, serious, ridiculous, it had it all! Ah, for the old days of television...

"The turkeys are hitting the ground like sacks of wet
cement!"
"Then the turkeys mounted a counter-attack... it was as if they were... organized."

Ferryman's Funeral Parlor was on this morning.

The episode where Venus talks to the cleaning lady's kid taught me the parts of the atom.
"Now these guys were real positive dudes, they called themselves the PROtons."
I actually worked with Venus (Tim Reid) on a television show he produced for Showtime. I was really looking forward to it since I loved 'WKRP' growing up. But, as much as I hate to say it, the guy was not very nice and hated talking about 'WKRP.' Very disappointing.
"For those of you who just tuned in, the Pinedale Shopping Mall has just been BOMBED with live turkeys. Film at 11."

One of the best episode IMHO was about those young fans killed at the Who's concert.I thought it was touching and well done.I read that CBS almost did'nt want to shows that episode out of respect for the familes of loved ones that were killed on that tragedic day.
