I am from Green Bay, Wisconsin...not very big...
I always wondered about this. To the best of my knowledge, the only TV personality from my hometown is the guy played the Antonio the taxi driver on "Wings"...He was also in a show with Doogie Howser a few years back.
I have been told that ancient talk show host Tom Snyder is from the Milwaukee area...
..I guess we only spawn serial killers..

A lot from San Diego...so it's not worth listing them all.
I was in the same school as film star Matt (Mathew) Modine. I lived on the same street as Angie Dickinson's sister...which is close.
And my cousin is TV star John Davidson.

More a movie star, but he has done TV...
Ernest Borgnine graduated from my high school (about 90 years ago).
Although I don't think he graduated from there, the wrestler the Rock attended my high school. My law teacher I had my junior year actually had him for law, as well.
And if you're including people who have had their 15 minutes of fame, the first million dollar winner on Millionaire, John Carpenter, lives in my town.

Jeffrey Combs (Reanimator, DS9, etc.) went to my smalltown high school, and had classes with my sister and her future husband... He graduated just as I was entering 9th, but we had lots of friends in common, and I remember seeing him in high school plays and, later, community college shows...

Umm, Kristy Swanson, her half-sister went to my school. I have never seen her myself, but she does goto the local carnivals.
I keep on missing her.

I can claim Katie Holmes!! And Jamie Farr too, but he doesn't look as cute in a dress. Farr did a great job of promoting Toledo, Ohio when he was on Mash. He was always talking about the Toledo Mudhens, the Detroit Tigers AAA team, and Tony Pacos, a local restaurant.

From: John "57 Varieties" Kerry represents me in the US Senate.
Closest thing is that Marcia (sp?) Cross from Melrose Place is the daughter of my 6th grade math teacher at Marlboro Middle School in Massachusetts.

Julia Roberts is from Smyrna, GA, a suburb just on the outskirts of Atlanta, GA. Oh joy.
Her dentist gave out tubes of toothpaste since Julia won her Oscar a couple of Sundays ago, he ordered 10,000 tubes. I think he gave out lots of lots of them.
