its at 9 EST on FOX. I hear its going to be like survivor in that they vote to kick one person off. Although the person that gets kicked off gets to choose one person to go with them.

I taped it, is it worth watching? I haven't really gotten into any of the "reality" TV shows yet, but this one looked goofy enough that I thought I'd try it.

I also watched it and there does seem to be some potential in the show. I especially like the way that the person who gets voted off, gets to vote anyone off anyone who they want once they are gone.

So what was it liked? I probably would've watched it, but I unplugged my TV and put it in my closet to force myself into studying for tomorrow's exam.

It was a stinker. Just like Survivor (which I do actually enjoy), they took a good idea and then watered it down so the challenge really isn't there. On Survivor they never really have to work hard for their day-to-day necessities and as for Boot Camp, that ain't no boot camp. Sorry, but if the contestants have all that free time to scheme and mug for the camera then it is nothing like the real thing. I did like how the female DI admitted that they're not allowed to touch the recruits in any way -- that part is at least accurate. Don't think I'll be watching it again.

This show was Great. But I love all reality TV. except Big Brother, but I used to watch that just so I had something to goof on at work.
But that one guy is now shifty SOB, and its great that he can laugh about it!!

Meyer is just lucky that the one lady quit, or the guy that was voted out would have surely taken him with him... kinda a rip that she did. I don't think he'll last long, while he may not get voted off someone will definitely take him with them.

Yeah, it'll take a whole different kind of scheming to be effective here. If the person most likely to get booted hates you, then you're toast, since they can take you down with them...
I think I'd try to be a good squad member, and otherwise not stick my neck out. Is there any other good strategy that can work?
I might be a scheming bastard on Survivor, but here any open lobbying--if it's effective--can backfire in a huge way.

I dig the show, but I religiously watch Real World, Road Rules, Survivor, Temptation Island ... I'm a sucker.
I like the idea that the person who gets kicked off -- TAKES SOMEONE DOWN WITH THEM! Now that's ruthless.
