107th place and counting!!
It finished just ahead of "The PJ's" on the WB.
Can NBC stomach 5 more weeks of this? A one hour, poorly rated show is bad; a 3 hour prime-time block getting those numbers is another thing.

They need to include more wrestling angles. Have the quarterback for one team turn to the other side at the end of the game and pitch it to the defense so they can score an easy game winning touchdown. Its all Jesse Ventura's fault anyway.

It's time to go to plan X:
namely:
release the wolves
more gratuitous nudity
bring out the folding chairs
more gratuitous nudity
mandatory making a fool of yourself in the end zone
more gratuitous nudity
dump Jesse Ventura
and...
more gratuitous nudity!

A friend recently asked me if I had seen this. I said no, and asked what in particular was different from NFL football.
His response: "Well, for one thing, the cheerleaders give lap dances."
Is this true? If so I may have to start watching... for 10 minutes, anyway.
And seriously, besides this what else is different about it?

I was a season ticket holder for the LA Xtreme (gave the last remaining tickets away), never saw a lapdance. Closest gratuitous nudity were from the fans, lots of flashing going on. That is until a few weeks ago when they cracked down on anything outrageous, posting police every few rows plus at the exits, entrances, field, souvenir stands... they even posted big white signs in the parking lot warning of zero tolerance on unruly behavior and just to be sure each car was handed the same notice as you drove into the parking lot. So much for XFL.

I really laughed as I was watching "The 6th Day" last night on DVD. It's advertised as the near future, "nearer than you think." But...then you see Ah-nold watching the XFL, and wearing an XFL jacket...like it's going to last and be a real sport in the future....Ha Ha Ha HA. I'm sure Vince thought it would be great advertising...whatever.
