Did anyone tape all of the Bette episodes? If so - hey new friend can you copy them for me?
hehe . No really, I am looking for all the episodes since it was canceled I will not most likely be able to tape during summer repeats. All 18 or so episodes would fit on two tapes in EP (SLP) mode. I of course would pay for the blank tapes and shipping. Please let me know - [email protected]
Many thanks..

CBS Loses Its 'Bette'

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - The Eye closed shop on the struggling Bette Midler comedy Monday, according to trade sources. Wednesday night's (March 7) airing is expected to be the last original episode to be broadcast this season. "Bette's" production company, Columbia TriStar Television, produced 18 out of CBS' 22 episode order before closing production on the show. CBS did not reveal if they planned on airing the two remaining new episodes.
Despite a strong premiere performance, where "Bette" pulled 15.72 million viewers, the show quickly dipped down to 7.1 million viewers during last week's episode. In addition, the loss of "Bette's" executive producer Jeffrey Lane and cast members Kevin Dunn and Lindsay Lohan indicated problems behind the scenes.
Kevin Dunn, who played Bette's husband, left the show a few months after its debut in the fall. Ironically, Robert Hayes ("Airplane!" ), who was cast to replace Dunn, will likely make his first appearance on the last show aired. Lohan was replaced as Bette's daughter when production moved to Los Angeles
Midler herself had been publicly complaining in recent weeks about the workload involved in making the series.
Midler recently received a TV Guide Award for Actress of the Year in a New Series for her performance in "Bette."
