Hmmmmmmmm.... Let me think about this one it for a bit.

Dallas

Seasons 1-8 and 10 are absolutely amazing and I plowed through them very, very quickly. The dream season is just too slow and drawn out and the seasons after 10 got worse and worse as you went along.

a) I was definitely a Days of Our Lives fan back in the day.
b) Lot of good ones mentioned. From the old days, maybe "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman." For modern times, I've got to go with my guilty pleasure, "Secret Life of the American Teenager."

I've always been partial to As the World Turns, but nothing can beat General Hospital during the Luke and Laura years. Pure soapy fun!

And in primetime there is no question... Dynasty!

Daytime: Another World
Nighttime: Dallas

I think we only need to know your night time one. I have an idea about what your daytime might be.

General Hospital.

Although I want Spinelli to die a slow painful death

Daytime: General Hospital circa Luke, Laura, Scotty, Heather, Susan Moore (Heather's cousin), Robert Scorpio, Holly (Emma Samms), The Cassadines, and so on. In other words, Late 70's, early 80's.

Nighttime: I only watched 2 -- Dynasty/The Colbys and Knots Landing. Knots Landing wins by far.

If you were thinking General Hospital, you would be right. As for the night time soap, Dallas and it's not even close. Honorable mention goes to Falcon Crest.

I remember as a kid my Friday night line up was The Dukes of Hazzard, Dallas and Falcon Crest.

Best prime time also.

Daytime- All My Children. It's the only daytime soap I could get into.

Nighttime- Desperate Housewives or Dynasty. Technically, Desperate is a soap. Otherwise, catfights between Alexis and Crystal were enough to keep me glued to Dynasty.
